The Costa Marina was completely refurbished in 2002 and its unique design brings the outdoors in. A glass enclosed roof spans a three-deck atrium cover. The beautiful waterfall rushes along a slanted wall of glass to replenish a sparkling pool. A transparent dome lets the sky pour into the ship's nightclub by day. The dome turns into a sea-going planetarium at night.
Costa Marina - Cabins
The ship offers almost 400 comfortable cabin rooms, including 8 suites as well as 22 ocean-view doubles and 64 inside doubles with two beds each. Guests can also choose to stay in any of the 62 ocean-view doubles or the 17 inside doubles with queen-sized beds each. In addition to the suites and double rooms, the Costa Marina features 65 ocean-view triples and 100 inside triples; 24 ocean-view quads and 13 inside quads; and two ocean-view singles and 11 inside singles.
Costa Marina - Dining
The Crystal Restaurant accommodates more than 400 diners and continues the ship-wide theme of bringing the outdoors in, here with window walls. The Yacht Club Buffet is more casual than the Crystal, serving more than 200 guests at once.
Costa Marina - Public Rooms
The Trevi Gallery is a duty-free shopper's delight, carrying elegant Italian goods and sundries.
The Costa Marina's Internet Café surpasses the average cruise line's computer center. Costa Marina's Internet Café boasts 17-inch, flat-screen monitors and video postcard capability. The ship also has a chapel, library and meeting rooms with full technical equipment.
Costa Marina - Fitness & Recreation
Guests can relax and rejuvenate in the ship's spa and fitness center, which is enclosed in a sort of glass cocoon. The Costa Marina also has 3 Jacuzzis, a beauty center, a pool and a 250-meter jogging track.
Guests can take their favorite fitness routines on and offshore. The Costa Marina Technogym fitness center has equipment that can be tailored to your own personal routine, which can be repeated and upgraded with every use, then brought ashore to continue the routine in other Technogym facilities.
