"Fun Ship" Cruises to Return to the Mediterranean in 2006
May 13, 2005
Carnival Cruise Line will begin another full season of 12-day Mediterranean cruises in May 2006 using a still un-named, 110,000-ton SuperLiner currently under construction in Italy.
Although the official itinerary for this new ship has not yet been released, Carnival Liberty, the Conquest-class ship that currently cruises the Mediterranean, is sailing to amazing destinations including: Rome, Naples, Sicily, Venice, Barcelona and Cannes. We can only expect more from the new itinerary.
Travel to Europe has drifted to cruising because of the all-inclusive advantages for travelers. Avoiding the exchange rate in this way is a huge bonus for Americans with the current value of the dollar being so far below that of the euro. Not to mention, the cost for a Mediterranean cruise is virtually comparable to that of a Caribbean cruise.
As more details are released on this new ship and new Mediterranean 2006 itinerary, CruiseNetwork.com will be sure to keep you informed. For more information on Carnival Liberty and other Mediterranean cruises call one of our Certified Cruise Specialists at 888-267-1232.
