Carnival Military Appreciation

July 01, 2005

The men and women who choose to enter the Armed Forces sacrifice so much in the defense of America. Of course, we all know that they risk their safety and even their very lives in combat. But they surrender other parts of themselves to their service besides the dangers faced in battle. These are the quiet sacrifices that often go unnoticed by most people: the missed wedding anniversaries; the first steps of a teetering, laughing child; their daughter or son's birthday; even something many of us take for granted, a vacation. Carnival Cruise Line is doing its best to help with the latter, at least.

When servicemen and women have the opportunity for a furlough in their tour of duty, or when they've completed their service altogether, it is only proper that they are thanked for their service to our country. In honor of what those men and women have given up, Carnival Cruise Line is showing its appreciation by offering them cruises at significantly discounted military rates.

For the Carnival cruise to be valid, one must book between July 1 and July 31, 2005. However, they choose to sail anytime between September 15, 2005 and March 31, 2006. Some of the cruises available include a 3-day cruise from Miami on the Fascination for only $209, a 7-day cruise on Carnival Cruise Line Glory out of Port Canaveral, Florida for as little as $349, and a 4-day cruise from Miami starting at only $249. There are many other deals available, and people can take advantage of them by calling a Cruise Specialist at Cruise Network.

But it isn't only the active military personnel who get to take advantage of these low Carnival cruise prices; the friends and family members who travel with them can share in the Carnival Cruise Line "Fun ship" experience for the same low prices. Other eligible military personnel would include those who are retired or no longer in active duty. They must present valid identification before being able to take advantage of the lower-than-normal Carnival Cruise Line rates. Up to three cabins may be booked for every member of the military.

Carnival Cruise Line's onboard atmosphere offers everything that a person could want when it comes to having a fun, activity-oriented cruise vacation. Lots of entertainment, including comedians, live music, and stage productions, can be found onboard. Each ship also has several restaurants and bars perfect for sharing an evening with friends and loved one. These significantly low prices on Carnival cruises are available right here through Cruise Network.

Many servicemen and women will have only a small window of time back in the States before they have to leave for Iraq, Afghanistan, or another front in the War on Terror. Taking a cruise with the people with whom they are closest would undoubtedly be a welcome respite.
