It's part of Seabourn's Signature Delights, thoughtful and tasteful touches that make a guest feel as welcome as can be while on one of the Seabourn cruises.
Called Vintage Seabourn, the program allows guests on Seabourn cruises to sample some of the best onboard wines at special prices. One can purchase the Vintage Seabourn wines prior to departure or onboard any of the three Seabourn Cruises' yachts, Legend, Pride, and Spirit. When they arrive in their suites, passengers will find a menu of all the wines available for selection. All they need to do is visit the sommelier, who will then present the bottles to them.
You don't have to be a wine aficionado to appreciate this Seabourn Cruises gesture; even the most novice of palates will enjoy the experience of sampling the many variety of wines. Guests who wish to participate in the program can choose between two tiers of service. The first "the Vintage Seabourn Silver collection" provides a menu of a dozen wines, six white and six red. Guests may then select three bottles to enjoy onboard. The price—only $150. For $300, guests may partake of the Vintage Seabourn Gold collection, in which they will be presented the same menu, but be able to walk away with six bottles. Choices might include wines such as a Hanzell Alexander Valley Pinot Noir or a Chateau Suduiraut Sauternes.
