Currently, the Cunard line has two Cunard cruise ships in operation: the Queen Elizabeth 2 and the Queen Mary 2. The 963-foot Queen Elizabeth 2 embarked upon her maiden voyage in May of 1969. She has 12 guest decks and accommodates up to 1,791 guests in 950 staterooms and suites. Accommodations range from the economical interior stateroom to the opulent 1,184 square-foot Grand Suites. This magnificent vessel was refurbished in 2001 and today boasts 7 restaurants, a full-scale casino, health spa, fitness deck, hair and beauty salon, Royal Promenade, board room, library, book shop, video arcade, teen disco, and much more.

The 1,132-foot Queen Mary 2 holds the distinction of being the world's largest, longest, and tallest ocean liner. Awarded a maritime Oscar by Berlitz in their 2005 guide to Ocean Cruising & Cruise Ships, the highly-anticipated QM2 has continued to garner industry awards since her maiden voyage in 2004. The QM2 accommodates up to 2,620 passengers and boasts an impressive 57.25 space ratio. With 14 decks of sports facilities, shops, bars, lounges, 5 pools, 10 restaurants, the Canyon Ranch Spa Club, and even a planetarium, this is truly the more luxurious of the two Cunard ships.
