Carnival Cruise Ship Shelter Plan Hits Bump in Texas
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced Wednesday that
displaced gulf coast residents currently residing in Houston's Astrodome will
not be moving onto two Carnival Cruise ships docked in Galveston, Texas as
originally planned. The decision comes after the evacuees themselves expressed a
great deal of reluctance and uncertainty at the idea.
